Full of Love & Grace

Judy Emily Ann Eve was born on May 4th, 1957. She was the eldest of seven siblings who all knew her from an early age to be full of love, kindness & grace. As big sister, Judy was very protective of her siblings, acting somewhat as a mother on many occasions.

Judy was a brilliant child, mastering Mathematics and English at an early age. In school, she took a keen interest in Sports and Science and also excelled in these areas.

Mother, Grandmother & Great-Gran

Judy, married to Stephen Eve, was the mother of five girls, Sue, Jamilla, Gracie, Isabella and June. She was also a proud grandmother to eight and great-grandmother of four. Her skills in all of thee roles were unparalleled, as she was naturally a carer and provider, with a keen sixth sense.

Family occasions would be marked by Judy’s famous cooking, live music and dancing. Judy’s laughter, kindness and generosity was a magnet that brought the entire family together.

A Devout Christian

Judy was born into a Catholic family and raised her children in the fear of God. She would often be seen reading her favourite book – the Bible and heard humming the tune to her favourite hymns. Her involvement in our church and neighbourhood helped many to improve their lives and strengthen their belief in God.

Judy’s favourite Bible text was Phillipians 4:13:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

She lived her life with this belief and encouraged her friends and family to do the same – to always have faith in God’s power despite of the circumstances.
