About Roshae

Roshae Aaliyah Kayla Marshall, first-born of Lashae Sade Marshall, was born in Kings County Hospital in New York on April 3rd, 2003, weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces.

Roshae, affectionately know by her middle name, Aaliyah, spent her 1st birthday in New York and then moved back to Barbados a few months later. Lashae, as a new mum to Aaliyah, did everything she could to give her a better life.

Aaliyah moved to Atlanta to stay with family 2 days before she turned 8. She had a wonderful life in Atlanta where she graduated college, got a job and settled into her own place.

In 2022, she came to Barbados to visit her brothers and sisters and the rest of the family. She went on a cruise with her mum and enjoyed trips to the beach almost everyday. Aaliyah also enjoyed time spent together with her mum and friends at occasional parties. She was so happy on her stay in Barbados that she delayed her return to Atlanta.

Aaliyah was a very focused person, putting lots of time and energy into her work. Sadly, on January 19th, 2023, Aaliyah was involved in a car accident which claimed her life.  From all of her family and friends, may her beautiful soul rest in peace.
